WINTER 2025~HAPPY NEW YEAR!
YOUNG PAVIA'S
Raquel and I are having a great summer down here in Peru. We've been enjoying the warm weather and sunshine...running, rollerblading, etc. The highlight though was our visit to Cleveland around the holidays. We had an amazing trip and were so happy to see many of you. Others we didn't see, we missed you! We spent tons of time with the Harrisons and Pavias, took some family photos, and celebrated Mamanonna's 96th birthday at Michael Angelo's Winery. We even got to see that beautiful Cleveland snow!!! ...and then got the hell out of there and back to 80s and sunny :-)Happy New Year everyone!
KY PAVIA'S
Kentucky Pavia's had a wonderful Christmas season with friends and family all while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas! We spent time in KY and Cleveland with family. We also went to the terrible OSU vs Michigan game but received redemption by going to the OSU vs Tennessee game. We hope that when this blog is out that the Buckeyes are national champions!!!! Kids are busy with robotics club, basketball, tennis, academic team and about to start getting in some pre-season baseball work. Cheers to a healthy and fruitful 2025! We love you!

HARRISON'S
Harrisons are enjoying our calm before the storm (spring sports season!). With only Luke playing basketball, we had a quiet November and December! We spent Christmas on Marco Island and then enjoyed Cleveland with the young Pavia's and Kentucky Pavia's.

MARIO AND JANE
We had a beautiful and warm fall in CLE which prolonged the golf season for both of us. The annual Grandpa/Grandson golf outing took place in October. Our annual sisters' weekend was spent in Sandusky doing a lot of catching up and enjoying our time together. Thanksgiving was spent in KY with Mike, Christie, Mario, Davis and the Harrison's. Christmas season was busy and extra special having Matt and Raquel home for 10 days and having the whole family together for 5 days, spending an afternoon with ALL the Pavia's at MichaelAngelo's winery, a fun afternoon at Top Golf and a monopoly marathon with the grandkids. Our annual Italian cookie baking with Janice and our granddaughters was a success. Now we are ready to settle in for the winter with warm fires, a blanket and a good book or movie!

BOHLEN'S
The Bohlen's had a quiet Christmas at home with no visitors this year (except annual holiday tea with Jacque’s bff and her daughter) and then spent a wonderful week in Hawaii enjoying some needed family time after a busy year. The highlight was an erupting volcano! We’re back in the swing of things with both kids starting piano lessons for the first time alongside dance and swimming. I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and 2025 is treating you well so far. Much love to everyone!
PS. Connor gave a school presentation on his ancestors. Check out the photo in the lower right of the picture! Can you name who is in the wedding photo??

JOE AND CORRINE
Greetings Family,
As we write (1/12) we are somewhere in the Caribbean on an MSC cruise headed to the island of Ocean Cay, (pronounced "Kiy") a private island owned by MSC Cruise line.
Nothing much has happened since our last blog. We stayed in PHX the rest of the year. I was in a play, "1940's Christmas Carol Radio Show", a story about a radio station in the '40's that puts on "The Christmas Carol" and everything goes wrong. Funny!
Had dinner on Christmas Eve with friends and opened presents with the grandkids. So much fun to watch them get excited and unwrap the packages. On Christmas day, we opened presents with Adams and Evelyn then had friends over for dinner.
We left on our current cruise January 3rd so we decided to spend New Years Eve in this year.
Attached are a few pics from the cruise. Weather in the Caribbean is exceptional this time of year (did have a rain day). Highs in the 80's, lows in the upper 60's.
Well, that's all from the desert. We are going to Puerto Vallarta from mid feb to mid-march, then in PHX until summer.
Stay safe, stay warm this winter and spring is a few weeks away.
Love, Joe & Corrine

GAUS'S
Hi family!
Miss you all! Hope to have a family reunion soon! Penny still asks when we are going to do it again! We are still homeschooling! Penny is in first grade language arts and kindergarten for the rest of her subjects. She is really succeeding in all of her classes. Penny has been doing hip hop and will dance cheer soon for basketball! We also went to a hotel for New Year’s Eve… haha was not that great but the kids had fun! We also had a great Christmas! Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and new years!

The Reust’s had a wonderful Holiday season. Annual cookie baking day with Jan and Alisha, seeing Hummel Family at Aunt Jane’s house, lots of family gatherings and now enjoying the cold snow. Looking forward to some sledding days and and snuggles.

DEMASTER'S
We are still cleaning up and feeling the after effects of hurricane Helene over here in Western North Carolina. This unthinkable natural disaster hit our little Mountain town hard in Sept. The flooding has been devastating to our foothills and parts of the area we live, as the Pacolet River runs through our backyard.
Our local park and mountain roads by our house still remain closed and destroyed. Please continue to pray for our little community as we continue to clean up the debris, damage, and overall mess that has struck our small mountain town.
We have been doing our best to stay positive, be festive, and enjoy the small things. We had a visit from my parents in November, celebrated another December birthday, and kept our hearts full with God’s grace. God Bless everyone in the new year!

JANICE AND SHIGGY
We spent the better part of September traveling cross country to LA for a wedding. Two plus weeks and so much BEAUTIFUL country!!! Some favorites were Boulder, Moab and Zion! Hundreds of pictures, 3000 miles on the new Genesis and many great memories!! A unique sculpture in Amarillo, Tx off the beaten path is Cadillac Ranch where old time Cadillacs are buried in the ground-- look it up, very cool and interesting how it came to be!!
Janet came to Cleveland this year for our annual sister’s weekend where we relaxed at the lake house in Sandusky. Lots of tea drinking, gossiping and of course secrets that….WELL….are our secrets!!
A wonderful late fall weekend was spent with the DeMaster clan in Tryon, NC, a quaint little mountain town that I can’t wait to return to.
It was fun seeing Nicole and family, even if it was too short of a visit!!
And of course the annual Italian cookie baking took place this year in December. We are proud to tell you we have converted another grandchild to join the ranks-thanks Rosalee you did a great job rolling out cookies with Penny and Harper. Next year our hopes are to convince Judah to join the biscotti group!!
Love to all FAMIGLIA,
Janice and Shiggy

HUMMEL'S
Our family started the holiday season with a trip home to Cleveland for Thanksgiving. Thanks to aunt Jane for hosting us! It's been a joy experiencing the holidays through Ava and Elliot's eyes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

KUHN'S
We had a memorable Christmas on the Florida frontier this year! Despite being under the weather for the first part of the season, we managed to enjoy some beach time and soak in the sunshine. The kids are back to school and are excited to be part of the Lego club, building new creations and making great memories. It’s been a wonderful way to wrap up the holiday season!
Love Donny, Michelle, Timmy, Tony, and Tina

TIM AND JANET
Janet used her creativity and sewing skills for Halloween costumes which won first place at our community Halloween party. We celebrated Tina’s birthday with a nana unicorn cake and Tony’s birthday with a lunch date at his favorite restaurant, Waffle House. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with the Kuhn family. We are using some of our free time in retirement to hone our gardening skills, harvesting our first Florida organic lemon. Hopefully many more to follow. Love and sunshine to all.😊
