Joe & Corrine
Corrine and I are spending the summer in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. We are not on vacation, just living in Mexico for the summer. The weather is perfect but in 2 weeks we are returning to AZ. Hopefully the weather would have cooled by then.
Adams and Evelyn came down for Father's Day. We did dinner and went to Mi Casa Supper Club (see below). We did a lot of taco tasting and Margarita sampling.
A couple pics are worth a thousand words. Some of the pics are somewhat formal. We found a restaurant, Mi Casa Supper Club, which is high end, top shelf.
Time with Connor and Gigi is limited to Zoom. They are growing quickly as I am sure you will see from Jacque's post.
Sorry we were unable to get to the reunion. It was virtually impossible to go from Mexico to Dayton. Hopefully we will be there next year.
Everyone ready for fall, school and football?
Love Joe and Corrine
The Bohlens
The Bohlens had a FABULOUS time visiting with family in Ohio and then an equally good time seeing Bobby’s family in Rhode Island. Summer flew by as Jacque continues to study (three tests down, one to go!) and Bobby entertains the kids. We are gearing up for back-to-school and looking forward to crisper weather and pumpkin patches. Sending love to all!
Jane & Mario
We had a very busy summer with traveling, golfing, gardening and visitors (Matt & Raquel) from Peru. Jane started the summer going to Iowa with Traci and grandkids to see Brian's Baldwin Wallace baseball team make it to the final four in Division 3 World Series, we enjoyed a long weekend with the Chimera clan at Hueston Woods, then Davis came to spend a week with us in CLE, and Jane went again with Traci, Luke and Harper to Myrtle Beach to see Luke play in a baseball tournament and enjoyed a few days with the KY Pavias who were at our condo at the same time. Mario went on his annual golf trip at the end of May and has been working at Hilliard Lakes Golf Course as a starter all summer. We had a fantastic two + weeks with Matt & Raquel enjoying their company. Matt cooked almost every night, Raquel and Jane went on after dinner walks, watched some movies, and caught up with many, many conversations. While they were home, KY Pavias came up and we had a wonderful family weekend with lots of swimming at the Harrison's pool.
The Harrisons
Summer for the Harrisons was all baseball and softball with a little beach mixed in. Mid-August brought the start to a new school year...Braden 9th grade, Luke 6th and Harper 4th. Braden was sidelined from his freshman year football team with a dislocated knee. He is on the mend and hoping to make it back for the last couple games.
Also took the kids to see Miami University while we were at Hueston Woods and finally finished out the last few weeks of summer vacationing at our backyard pool.
The Kentucky Pavias
The Kentucky Pavia's are enjoying a great start back to the school year. The boys are in third and fourth grade. Our fall is filled with flag football, golf, soccer and cross country for sports along with an outreach club and chess club. We are back in the swing of schedules, homework and trying to get to bed early :). We kicked off the college football season with a road trip to Indiana University to watch the Buckeyes start the season. We look forward to a few OSU home games this fall. Prayers everyone is enjoying a beautiful fall season. Love you all!
The Young Pavias
We've had a great summer here in Lima. But the best part of our summer was our visit to Ohio for a few weeks in July!!! We were bummed we missed the reunion by only a week or two unfortunately, but we got to stay with Mom and Dad and do all the Ohio things we miss living here in Peru! Of course we enjoyed all the family time spent with Mom and Dad, at the Harrison's pool, and with the Kentucky Pavias on their visit. Raquel had dinner parties with her girlfriends from her old gym and with her old colleagues from her time at Goddard School. We also met up with some of my high school friends for a dinner double-date. And we were stoked to meet some more of my high school friends at a Cleveland Guardians game! We're so lucky because Raquel's school paid for our plane tickets, so instead we spent all of our money at Costco, Old Navy, and on countless Amazon packages. Finally, Raquel and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary while in Ohio. Can't believe it's been 8 years! We had a lovely dinner date at a fancy restaurant in Lakewood overlooking Lake Eerie. It was perfect.
The reunion was a blast and the highlight of summer…. Love to all famiglia

The DeMasters
We are glad summer is over in TN, it’s been hotter than a jalapeño and the bugs have been insane! Looking forward to cooler weather and opening up our woods again for crisp walks in the morning with the kids and our puppy. Bring on the pumpkin spice everyone!
The Ruests
Summer was fun and busy, we started homeschooling Rosalee this week for Kindergarten and gearing up to be a family of 5 in November. Judah is enjoying my garden with fresh pesto (on my 4th batch now). We have been to Nana and Papa's lake house a few times this summer to unwind and taking one last trip there this upcoming Labor Day weekend with Gaus family too. Our puppy Louie turned 1 this past month.
The Gauses
Hello family!
We had soooo much fun on vacation with everyone and would love to do it again. It was so good see everyone and their kids! This summer I started nannying a little girl one to two days a week! So that has helped Penny and me keep busy! Penny loves to pretend to be a big sister to her -haha.
We have been swimming a lot and making lots of new friends! We are excited to start the new school year with our homeschool co-op again! And to start gymnastics!
Janet & Tim
Tim and Janet have been enjoying fun family time. Always fun when my sisters visit for our annual beach trip. Janet has become the Florida family Baker, making a traditional bunny cake for Easter and an aerodynamic jet for Timmy's birthday. I was blessed to spend my birthday with the Hummel family in Washington. We had a fun “Glamping“ adventure in the Hummel camper at White Pine National Park.
The Kuhns
Happy Fall Y'all!!
We enjoyed a relaxing summer in Florida and are ready for all things fall. Tim, Tony, and Tina started school at the same location this year. Tim is in 3rd grade, Tony is in 1st grade, and Tina is in full-day VPK. Donny has a new position at work that is keeping him busy. Michelle started a new hobby; feel free to check out the video here: https://tinyurl.com/2n8wp6wp
We are planning for Halloween and fall football. We are excited for the Family Fantasy Football League. If you are interested in playing please text Donny at 343-0208.
Love and all things pumpkin & spice,
Donny, Michelle, Tim, Tony, and Tina
The Hummels
The Hummel family loved seeing everyone at the family reunion! It was the highlight of our summer. Since our last blog post, Ava turned 4 & Elliot turned 2. We celebrated Ava with a birthday party with her friends from school. Elliot requested Elmo cake pops for his birthday and he loved them so much that he still talks about them everyday! Last week we returned to school. I’m starting off my school year with lectures in Luxembourg! I’ll be in the country at the same time that they coronate their wine queen! So, my return is pending if I’m crowned or not!
