Joe & Corrine
The first part of 2023 was very very good! We took our annual vacation to Puerto Vallarta in February and March. At the end of March, we had our first ever family reunion in Palm Springs. Jacque, Bobby, Connor and Gigi, who live the farthest away, flew in. As a result, they got there the quickest. Adams and Evelyn, who live the closest to Palm Springs, drove in. However, due to LA traffic, it took them the longest to get there. Corrine and Joe also drove in—3 hours.
Each family prepared dinner on their assigned night. Corrine and Joe prepared a salmon dinner on Friday. Adams and Evelyn brought their pizza oven so everyone made a personal pizza on Saturday. The kids loved it. Jacque and Bobby prepared lentil tacos on Sunday.
We stayed in a four-bedroom house complete with swimming pool, pool table and putting surface. We played an endless number of games and Connor spent, what seemed to be all day Sunday, in the pool.
On Saturday we went to a photographer for a family picture. Gigi spent the better part of the session saying "Cheese". The photographer had more fun than we did.
On Sunday, Jacque took her dad golfing. We played a magnificent 18 hole little course (which was impeccably manicured) and talk business and golf. Great, great time.
That's all for the first part of 2023. We leave for Mexico in 2 weeks. We spend the summer in Rosarito Beach.
Have a great summer everyone. Talk again in the fall.
Mario & Jane
Mario and Jane have had a quiet few months, but gearing up for summer activities! We did get to our condo in March and were able to golf a few times even though it was colder than usual there. A visit to see the KY grandkids in March was a fun weekend, Easter egg coloring with the Harrison’s, and Jane worked the month of April doing some testing of 1st and 2nd graders, but back to retired life now.
KY Pavias
The Kentucky Pavia's are enjoying spring and ready for summer break! The boys are enjoying robotics club at school along with baseball, pga golf league and soccer. Mike is coaching both boys and they are on the same team which is really special. We are so excited for the upcoming reunion. Please feel free to call us if you need a ride from the airport or a place to stay on the front or back end of the trip. We love you and can't wait to all be together in June!!!!
Harrisons
Harrisons are looking forward to summer. Kids have already been swimming in our pool. Sports are keeping us crazy busy as usual.
Young Pavias
We're settled into our new apartment and Raquel is back at school after a great 2-month summer vacation. We visited a beach town in Northern Peru named Máncora back in February. It was beautiful and peaceful. Since then we've been enjoying the nice weather in Lima, rollerblading, taking Shadow on walks, and visiting the coast here in the city. Raquel just finished her first term at school and has a week off, so she went on a girls trip to Cancun, Mexico while Matt and Shadow hold down the fort at home!
Janice & Shiggy
Zweigarts added a new addition to the white car category in January, a convertible Camaro- just starting to enjoy it this spring!
We celebrated 41 years of heavenly bliss this year! Also celebrated a lot of birthdays between January and March.
Janice spent some time in February with the DeMaster’s in Tennessee and got to meet their new addition, Lenny.
Looking forward to a sisters weekend in the middle of May and heading to Florida, and of course can’t wait for end of June to see all your crazy smiling faces❤️
Love to all famiglia❤️
DeMasters
We are excited for summer and busy with all things outdoors!
Pete and I took a trip to New York for work and the kids had a great time with Nana and Paw Paw for 3 days. We sold a bunch of stuff at our neighborhood garage sale and the kids made some REAL money at their first lemonade stand. Our puppy continues to gain about 10 pounds every two weeks! We lost our dog Wilma in March, it was sudden but she was 13 and lived a great life. We are excited to see everyone soon. ❤️ DeMaster Family
Ruests
We celebrated Judah’s 3rd Spider-Man birthday party in February with an ice cream cake and a trip to our church that had an indoor playground. He was very excited to get his first (and ONLY allowed) motorcycle from mom and dad. We had such a mild winter that we had about 1 day with enough snow to build a snowman and pull out the snowplow. We had a fun trip to the zoo with Nana and Papa for his birthday in March. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in March with a trip to a tiny home in Loudenville by Amish Country while Nana and Papa had the kids for the whole weekend. And oh yeah…….. we will be a family of 5 come November!!

We are ready for summer and excited to connect with everyone at the family reunion. Our summer plans began with Ava’s fourth birthday and a visit from the in-laws. My parents are visiting in a week and a half to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We’re taking out the camper for the first trip of the season, and looking forward to all the campfires, hikes, and memories!
