The first week of August was spent in SD with the DeMaster Family, which is always relaxing and fun, but also never long enough!!
Shiggy and I went to our annual Labor Day American music festival in Va. Beach and this year we were blessed to visit with Nicole and Steve, who recently moved there.
And last but certainly not least, we are so happy and excited to welcome Josh, our soon to be son-in-law into the family!!
Love and Happy fall to all!!
Janice & Shiggy
The DeMasters: We have enjoyed our recent visits with Alisha and Josh in July, then the Ruest family and the Bohlen’s in September! It’s been a revolving hotel over at the DeMaster casa and we love it! So much family fun time on the West coast. Getting ready for Nana and Paw Paw to come out for Thanksgiving as our last visitors, then we are shutting down and getting ready for another home birth! Hoping baby #2 comes early or late. Really would like to avoid labor the week of Christmas and praying I can have a glass of wine on New Years Eve! Can’t wait to find out if this babe is a boy or a girl...haven’t had an intuition one way or another. Of course we are always finishing up some last minute home projects and figuring out Halloween customs. J.R. is insisting on being a blueberry this year, might need to get out my sewing kit. Happy Fall everyone!

Tim and Janet enjoyed a visit from the Kuhn family especially with our adorable grandsons. We also have enjoyed numerous visits from Steve and Nicole now that they are in Virginia.
Summertime is Funtime, filled with long bike rides, leisure picnics, and lazy afternoons with friends and family.
(Timmy can now jump into the pool and he loves to swim. Tony still refuses to swim and would rather snack while watching his brother)

Joe & Corrine:
Hello Everyone,
I trust everyone is doing fine. It was another very busy quarter for us in the desert. We went home in August. Spent some quality time with Adams and Evelyn. Talked about the wedding, which will be May 10th in Tuscany Italy. Saw some old friends and had lunch on our bench in Laguna Beach. There is a bench that sits in the middle of some ice plant overlooking the Pac ocean. We have been having lunch there for more years than we can count. It is just about our favorite place in the world.
We went on a cruise in September and October (got home Monday Oct. 8). Started in Vancouver, Canada - went up over the top of the world (Alaska etc.) – saw some outstanding shore line and glaciers - then went down the east of the pacific into Russia, Asia and terminated in Tokyo. It was a 3 weeker. Russia was phenomenal. Very unexpected conditions. High end stores, great food, very nice parks and terrific sights. Russia is not as desolate as we have been led to believe. We were not far from Siberia.
The pics show the international date line. To the right is today to the left is tomorrow. Can only send a few of the many pics taken.
Hope your Halloween is sweet. Hope your Thanksgiving and Christmas are terrific. Hope the Dodgers win it all this year; since the tribe is out please hope with me. Hey, how bout them Rams! Take care, love to all—Joe and Corrine
Jane & Mario: Summer has faded way too quickly, but fall is a bonus time for this retired teacher! We’ve been watching Braden’s football games on Saturdays, the Browns on Sundays, bike rides during the week for me and Mario is finishing up his golf league. I have a few Washington DC trips in October and Mario will do his fall golf trip to North Carolina. This past weekend we had lots of fun with kids and grandkids apple picking and playing with cousins!

The Harrisons: We are plugging along through the fall. Keeping busy with football and school. Traci took a trip back to Miami University for family weekend to visit her niece. Brian put together BW baseball’s big fundraiser and hosted his annual golf outing last week, which brought the Kentucky Pavia’s to Cleveland. Nana and Papa took everyone apple picking, which was a fun time! And Harper went to a Princess Tea at Strongsville High School.

The Bohlens have been hanging local except for a long weekend in Seattle and a long weekend in San Diego with the DeMasters (where Bobby and Connor promptly got sick - we were terrible guests for the pregnant woman!). We're all better now and are enjoying the local pumpkin patches at the farms in northwest Oregon. Bobby made Connor a kitchen helper (see below), and Jacque has been squeezing in a little quilting where she can. Connor is working on climbing everything in sight, making child-proofing both an ongoing project and a joke. Much love to everyone!
