Fall 2017

Janice & Shiggy:  It’s been raining babies in our neck of the woods. Janice spent two weeks in San Diego visiting her grandson Joseph Reece (J.R.) who was born August 21. Making it home in time to see her granddaughter Rosalee born 9/20. Shiggy‘s been busy finishing up the remodel of the master bath, which is looking fantastic!!! Happy fall to all ❤️

The DeMasters:
We had a BABY, J.R. DeMaster!!!!!!!
Nothing else to say. 😊

Reust Family:  Aunt Jane was kind enough to let us use her condo for a much needed vacation in July for a week. We enjoyed the beach, ice cream and of course jumping on Uncle Mario's bed! Most of August and September were a blur, waiting for the baby to finally arrive. Which she did 10 days late! Girls do like to make a grand entrance I guess. She arrived Sept 20th and we have been enjoying our new family of 4 since. Excited for you all to meet her soon.

Alisha:

Janet & Tim:
Nothing shouts fun like summertime!
Tim and Janet met the Kuhn family in calabash at the "Pavia Beach Resort". We enjoyed a wonderful week with our grandsons, and of course Donny and Michelle.
Janet also met Nicole in Chicago for a mommy/daughter adventure. We stayed on the Magnificent Mile, had a magnificent time shopping eating and just spending time together. On the trip Janet transported with uber all by herself and was amazed at the ease and convenience.
The Chimera sisters started their 1st annual bike trip together. Bikes, backpacks and put in bay, had a wonderful fun filled trip. Love you sisters!
Tim and Janet enjoyed the Cleveland air show as guests of Labatts in their VIP loge. It was a picture perfect day and always a thrill to see the jets and skilled pilots.
Last Christmas in our gift exchange I received a tin of delicious tea. Best tea ever. I tried to purchase more on line but found that it is only sold in England?? Would be great to know who brought the tea and where can I purchase more?

Happy Fall Y’all
The Kuhn’s have been busy settling into school and work with two boys. We are enjoying fall football and lots of Halloween activities. Timmy and Tony are dressing up as Paw Patrol characters this year and have been practicing trick-or-treat the whole month of October getting ready for Halloween night. We are very excited to meet our new baby cousins this Christmas in Ohio.

The Hummels
I am on the job market in search of a new home! I have interviews this month in Virginia and Wisconsin. Hopefully we'll have an idea of where we're moving to by Christmas. This summer, I took a wonderful trip to Chicago with my mom. Steve is doing great and he is headed to Cleveland to take a father-son birthday fishing trip with his dad (his dad turns 60 and he turns 30). We can't wait for Christmas.

Us at an art exhibit! Very hip and stylish.

Joe & Corrine:  We have 2 seasons in the desert, summer and almost summer. Right now it's almost summer--90's during the day 70's at night. Regardless of what I may have led you to believe in the past, I will admit that summer time in the desert is beyond hot. So this year Joe and Corrine decided to escape. We rented a 4 bedroom condo for the entire month of July with some friends in Park City, Utah. It's a 2 day journey. We had a great time golfing, antiquing, shopping and just relaxing. On the way home, in Mesquite , Nevada, the air conditioning on my convertible broke. So we had to drive across the desert (5 hours) the old fashion way (windows down).
In August, we went home for 2 weeks. Spent some quality time with Adams and Ev, saw some old friends and revisited our favorite haunts and restaurants.
I will close by saying, hope to see all you Indian fans in the world series. Dodgers/Indians world series is a real strong possibility. Dodgers in 6!

The Bohlens:  The Bohlens had a busy summer filled with family, travel, and getting used to our newest member.  Bobby's sister and her family and his brother visited in July, and the three of us spent two weeks on the East Coast in August: a work conference for Jacque in NY followed by a drive up to Rhode Island to see Bobby's family and then a drive up to Maine to see friends.  Connor was a ROCKSTAR, and is proving to be a very easy-going little guy (clearly he takes after his Daddy...).  Jacque is back at work full time now, and Bobby is taking wonderful care of Connor, who is now rolling over and starting to scoot around!  Much love to everyone!

Mario and Jane had a great summer with some time at our condo and enjoying ball games (Braden's and CLE Indians). Jane enjoyed a short sister trip to Lake Erie Islands and Mario enjoyed his semi annual golf trip. We did some apple picking with ALL five grandkids.

The Harrisons: With September comes school...We are all adjusting and it's taking some of us (Harper) a little longer than others. Braden started 3rd grade; Luke started Kindergarten; and Harper started Preschool. Harper loves her teachers and school in general. She does not love that Mommy has to go to school, and she does not get to see me when she wakes up. This has led to many sleepless nights! Love that momma's girl!! Braden is playing flag footbal. Brian started fall baseball practice after his field got turf in the outfield (infield was turfed last year). We got to hang out with the Kentucky Pavias last weekend and went apple picking. Those boys are crazy fun!! We are gearing up for Halloween...my least favortie holiday as a teacher! But the kids LOVE it and mine are no different. Harper is going to be Doc McStuffins (costume made with love by Aunt Janet). Luke is deciding between a Ninjago character from the new Ninjago Movie and an Indians player. Braden told me his is dressing up as himself...but when I said you can't Trick-or-Treat without a real costume, he decided he would think about it a little more. I've been loving all the baby pics...makes me miss baby snuggles! I'll be over soon Vanessa to get my fix!

The Kentucky Pavia's are getting back to normal after a fun and adventour filled summer. The boys are back in school. Both go two days a week and Mario also goes on Friday. They have wonderful
teachers and truly love going to school. Christie is still managing the rental properties and was fortunante to work with a few fun clients who were first time home buyers and another who opened her first hair salon. Mike ruptured his Achilies tendon towards the end of August so he had surgery and has been working hard at recovery. He can now walk without crutches or a walking boot and can drive so lots of improvements. Overall we are thankful for our health and family and enjoying the fun fall activies. We love you all and can't wait to see you at turkey day!
