Now we are getting ready to host Thanksgiving for the first time in our new home and then put the Christmas lights up when it gets cold!!
The Harrisons: Braden finished up his fall baseball league and flag football program during October. Luke got into soccer and is now playing basketball. Harper's new favorite thing to do is have a dance party to music. Brian wrapped up fall practice in October. I enjoyed a day off from school to go on a field trip with Luke and his class to red wagon farm. Halloween was a blast. Braden was a football player, Luke a fireman for trick or treating and captain America for school, and Harper was a butterfly.
The Kentucky Pavia's are enjoying a fun fall season! We have taken full advantage of the warm weather with trips to the zoo, park, and pumpkin patches along with hours of time in the backyard and sandbox! The boys are growing like crazy and are a true joy. Davis is taking a few steps at a time trying to keep up with his big brother. We have yet to find a food the kid doesn't like......our grovery bill is climbing. Mario is really starting to talk clearly and always saying more words. Everytime we see a truck he yells "papa, truck" over and over and over!!!!!!
Hope everyone has a blessed holiday season and we can't wait to see you at Christmas!
We (Matt & Raquel) spent the Halloween with the Harrisons. We figured out that to feel the spirit of trick and treating we need to see and be with the kids in costumes. I walked for a bit with the children during trick and treating time and Matt passed out candies on the Harrison's porch. I had a last minute costume idea and dressed up as Flo for progressive insurance.
Matt and I are settling nicely in our new apartment. Matt enjoys his work at Hyland and is now done with his training. As for me, I just bought a new bike from this weird Craiglist guy. I named my bike Courage.
It is my first fall experience and I have been taking fall photos from the metroparks when we have walks and bike rides.
The Zweigarts: Uncle Shiggy has been busy on our back porch replacing aluminum siding with a white wash cedar and it has turned out BEAUTIFUL!
Halloween was a blast, but since this is a family blog I can only include the pic without what we actually went as.
Jess: Things have not slowed down..... And I don't think they are going to! There's a beautiful ring on my left hand and I'm excited to become a DeMaster in February!
We had a recent tragedy, Pete's mom passed away from after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 2 months ago. So we are focused on healing and honoring her life in Florida for the funeral at the end of the month. Other then that, we are still hustling in LA and trying to remember what month it is! Life is nonstop right now!
The Reusts: Our favorite time of the year, especially in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We had a great time in Vegas at Vanessa's company retreat in September. It was our first trip to Vegas, and we had a fun time socializing, relaxing, visiting the strip and getting Swedish massages! We have been enjoying a slower pace during the fall season but are bracing for the upcoming busy holiday season and wedding in February of next year. (Vanessa is proudly sporting her Matron of Honor shirt around the apartment) Last but not least, we recently visited a pumpkin patch and Frankie won 3rd place in a doggie costume contest! We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
Alisha:
Apple pie, apple cake, apple crisp, apple strudel, apple muffins, apple pancakes, apple cider, Ohio is experiencing a bumper crop of apples thanks to John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed.
Tim and Janet have been enjoying a warm, sunny and colorful fall. We have been spending our days outdoors as much as possible, riding bikes of course.
Time to take a trip down memory lane to Rittman Orchards. We would pick bushels of apples and nanu would buy all the kids an ice cream cone and an old fashion candy stick. Take a moment to enjoy the memory. Then, make mom / nani proud and get busy baking something delicious with apples. I can smell the aroma already.
Happy fall y'all - The Kuhn's are Moving!
October has been a busy month. We sold our house and have purchased a new home in Groveland, Florida. We are excited to move into more living space in a neighborhood with a community pool rather than the backyard pool. Visitors always welcome!! (More details and pictures in the next blog. We sold our house and bought a new house in less than a week. We officially close on both properties on 12/11. Living near Disney has some real estate perks.)
Timmy loved Halloween!!
Cutest pumpkin in the patch. Timmy loved trick-or-treating and held every piece of candy he received from people. He refused to eat the candy or put the candy down. Needless to say we had a big mushy candy pumpkin by the end of the evening.
Tim loves big trucks just like his grandpa and mama.
Steve and Nicole had a wonderful fall break and a visit from Steve's parents this month. Steve has enjoyed fly fishing for stealhead and Nicole is getting ready for winter hibernation.

Joe & Corrine: In Phoenix we're very busy in the month of October so no fun pics are available. November’s calendar will be a little better. We shall see.
Bobby & Jacque have been enjoying the change in seasons in Portland after years of California living – we can’t get over how lovely the leaves are! We saw the first round of plans for our new home, which was really exciting, and we have been told to expect building to start in March. “Little” Olly (over 40 pounds now at five months) is teething, Cady is starting some higher-level training, Bobby is making a box in his wood-working class, and Jacque made a Halloween wreath and another Thom the Turkey (who is sopping wet and a little dirty in his photo because he was blown off the door in a storm!). Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Adams: It's been a pretty good month down here in California. My job still has me on the road a bit too much probably (traveling every week), but it looks like that might finally calm down come January! I'm headed down to Australia on the 20th to visit a friend and dive before they close the great barrier reef! We're going to rent an RV down there and see the north coast and camp out to save money... which i'm really excited about! Happy Thanksgiving Family!!
JACQUE,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you again for organizing this blog, it really is so nice to catch up with the family, in this fast paced life that we all lead... YOU ARE A GEM!!
LOVE, AUNT JANICE
