On Saturday, January 13, I was heading out to play my usual golf game with my friends. As I was leaving Corrine told me she was going antiquing with Ane, the wife of one of my golf buds. O.K. see you later today. When we were on the second tee, Chris, Ane’s husband, states that his wife had to buy 6 tickets to a wine and cheese party that was to be held that afternoon at 1PM. She had to buy them to support her bocce league. Well, she can’t use 6 tickets so she was giving them to us. Also, our wives would meet us at 1PM at the party. I said to him, are you sure Chris because Corrine didn’t say anything to me about a wine and cheese party. He replied that Ane would tell her when they were antiquing and they would both be there along with the other 2 wives. O.K., I bought it hook line and sinker.
We finish golf, go to the lounge, have a beer and pay our gambling debts. At 1PM Chris stands up and says, the ladies are at the party let’s go. We march across the parking lot to the ballroom where the doors are closed and we are met by a waiter who asks, are you here for the wine and cheese party. Yep, that’s us. The waiter opens the door and there are 100+ of my friends with my high school yearbook picture on a stick in front of their faces and they are yelling SURPRISE! From the back of the room out walk Adams and Evelyn, Jacque and Bobby carrying Connor then out walk my sisters with their husbands. Stunned!!! I come to find out this had been in the works for a year and I had absolutely no clue what was coming down. Stunned!! Rather than bore you with pics I am including the following links for you to see the pics when you want. The first link is the party, the second link is the Sunday morning brunch at our house.

Oh, by the way, in February we took our annual excursion to Mexico. This year it was Cabo. Pics attached.

The Bohlens have been busy per the usual. We went to Phoenix to surprise Jacque's dad for his 70th (he neglected to mention that he is now SEVENTY) birthday, and Connor was looking quite dapper. Jacque was on the road for work most of February, and as a family we went to Philadelphia so that Connor could meet Bobby's Aunt Sidney and Uncle Stewart. Bobby and Connor were sick in March, but everyone is all better now, Nie (Bobby's sister) and Sam (her son) came to visit, and we spent Easter in Bend (Central Oregon) with the dogs in tow where Connor went sledding for the first time and visited his third national park like the boss he is. Connor continues to be an EXCELLENT eater (home-made beef and broccoli tonight!), but he's so active he remains our little peanut. Much love to everyone!! (and I totally broke my own limit your pictures rule... oops!)

Mario & Jane: We started out the new year with a visit to Arizona to celebrate J’s 70th birthday~WOW, great weekend! Then we stayed on and drove to Sedona and the Grand Canyon~a majestic view to say the least. We also saw Antelope Canyon which was about 2 hours from Grand Canyon but well worth the drive. Since then we’ve been hibernating and trying to keep warm during CLE winter. Finally we’re spending this week with the KY Pavia’s at our NC condo.
Easter weekend was low key and we loved celebrating it with family here in Ohio. We are so excited for summer and cannot wait for this cold weather to be over. (Winter go home, you're drunk!)
Love,
Raquel and Matt
Janice & Shiggy: In January went to Arizona to celebrate the oldest Chimera sibling turning 70. Boy is that man getting old or what???
It was a beautiful event hosted by Jacque and Corrine- NICE JOB Ladies!
February brought me back to SD to visit J.R. and give Jess and Pete a night away to celebrate 2nd wedding anniversary—a wonderful time was had by all!!
March took Shiggy and I to Sarasota to celebrate both of our birthdays and also our 36th wedding anniversary.
Looking forward to May when J.R. is coming to visit again!!
Love to all❤️

J.R. and I are heading back to Cleveland the first week in May, we hope to visit with anyone who is around town! I’ll be sure to bring some warm sun when I come.

The Reusts: We are settling into our new normal with Vanessa back at work in Januray, Elijah travelling and our awesome nanny's aka the moms watching Rosealee! We had a fun paint night with Alisha and Josh in February and we are starting to feed Rose solids this past month which is a fun experience. In April we are all flying out to Seattle for Vanessa's work so it should be interesting to travel with a baby for the first time. Life is definitely busy and never boring with kids, looking forward to the warmer weather and our Chimera picnics soon! As you can see mom loves to play dress up with Rose until she makes it clear she is DONE!

Alisha: Hello family!
Miss you all so much! The only exciting thing that has happened to me in the past month is I got another promotion! I am now in charge of my own department! Josh is now working for CJ and is traveling a lot! We will be going to California in July to see Jess for a couple days and travel for a few days around Cali! Can’t wait to see my nephew! Miss you all so much!
Hello family. Tim and Janet enjoyed a wonderful weekend in sunny Arizona celebrating brother Joe's 70 th birthday. It was fun to gather and be with family. We hosted Easter dinner. Rosalee was the star of the day and received all the attention. It has been a long cold winter here in Ohio. We are well rested and waiting patiently for warm weather and sunshine.
The Kuhns: Hello from Florida,
We are currently on a countdown with 7 weeks left of school. Come on summer vacation!!
The boys are best buddies these days. Tony is walking and holding his own, he even gets a few pushes in against his brother.
We will be home visiting Ohio around the 4th of July this summer!!
Love
Donald, Michelle, Timmy, & Tony
