Enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. The Hummel family visited. It was so nice to have our family together. Bought a new golf cart, I wanted the bat mobile but we couldn’t fit all the grand kids in it. We are spending our time wisely winning gingerbread and cornhole contests. Sending love and sunshine to all.

Happy New Year from the Hummel family!

The Guas Family
Hello family!
The past couple weeks have been tough I got covid then josh got it so we missed Christmas and New Years! Josh is still recovering I feel back to normal now! Other then that josh has been busy working and traveling. Penny and I have been busy learning new stuff with home school , going to park and seeing our cousins !!

The DeMaster Family
We officially had snow! It’s the first time the kids have ever seen snow….Pete and I forgot what it was like to live in snow, after a decade of west coast life. When in snows in the mountains… EVERYTHING shuts down, another thing we are not use to in the winter. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. A full house hosting my parents and the Gaus family. Consisting of everyone in the kitchen, kids screaming and bourbon taste testing at night. Our Christmas was just the 5 of us, simple and cozy and we celebrated Margot’s birthday a few days later.
I never did get around to Christmas cards this year, but I loved seeing all of yours! Thanks for making sure we got one. There is no such thing as work/life balance over here.. but we are ok with that for now. Happy New Year to all!

Happy New Year! We have yet to celebrate the holidays with Jan and CJ, Alisha, Josh and Penny since a few of them got sick.
But fingers crossed before the end of January we will get to celebrate. We were able to fit in our annual cookie baking day with Jan, Alisha and Vanessa with NO KIDS and had a lovely time baking!
We also had a fun visit with Nicole and Steve and the little ones, catching up and laughing at Aunt Jane's house.
Hope everyone stays healthy!

Janice & Shiggy
Thanksgiving was spent in Tennessee with the DeMaster clan hosting a wonderful family gathering!!! We were joined by the Gaus family and it was a lot of FUN chaos!!
Italian cookie baking this year with only two Chimera sisters was very weird (we missed you Janet) but thank goodness for Harper, who is a great baker in her own right!!!
We had a fun visit with the Hummel family meeting their beautiful babes for the first time!!
Christmas is still yet to be celebrated with the Zweigart clan, as we have had a few sick folks over here, hopefully this will happen before Valentine’s Day…because my decorations AREN’T coming down until we celebrate!!!! Take that COVID!!!
Love to all famiglia❤️

After Halloween the activity picked up significantly here in the dessert. I sold my golf cart (a 2008 model) and bought a new one (a 2015 model). All said and done, I made $2,000 on the transaction and got a much better cart so we took a last minute, 1 week cruise down the Mexican Riviera which is along the Pacific coast (Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo). Needless to say we had a great time but it wasn't long enough.
We had friends in for Thanksgiving dinner then the parties really started and continued until New Year's Day. We opened gifts on Christmas morning with the grandkids and Jacque and Bobby. In a separate Zoom we opened gifts with Adams and Evelyn (who were somewhere in snow-land skiing). Attached are some pics of various parties and NYE.
We are now re-cooperating and glad to be doing that. Everyone tried to make up for the parties and fun that was last year. It was over the top.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and hope that everyone has a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022. I will close by saying, "Go Rams!"
The Bohlen Family
We spent the holidays cooking and baking (complete with intentional fire!) and generally hanging out with each other. Jacque was able to take time off between Christmas and New Year's, and it was nice to just relax together. Bathtub painting remains a favorite activity (yes, Gigi tried to eat the NON-TOXIC paint while I snapped a photo), and hosing off muddy (happy!) dogs after they play in the swamp that is our backyard remains a loathed activity (Oregon rain brings much beauty... and much mud...). We're also VERY excited that after two years, the soccer club that accepts toddlers finally opened again! Happy New Year, everyone! We love and miss you all!
The Young Pavias
The Young Pavias have been enjoying the holiday season and beautiful weather. It's actually SUMMER down here in the southern hemisphere! We've gone down to the coast a few times to breathe in the ocean air and see the Christmas tree/holiday decorations. We enjoyed a holiday party at a friend's apartment and met lots of new friends. We've been taking Shadow on lots of walks and playing in the park as much as possible.
It's Raquel's summer vacation from school/work, so she has two months off! We have two mini-vacations planned coming up soon in January. One to the nearby mountains where we rented an Airbnb house with a pool (for Raquel) and huge yard (for Shadow) to relax and enjoy the scenery. We also have a mini-staycation in Lima planned later in the month. We rented an Airbnb apartment right next to the ocean where we can walk the coast everyday, go to the beach, take Shadow to a bunch of new parks, and maybe even try a little surfing.
Happy Holidays everyone! Wish you all health and prosperity in 2022. Love and miss you all.

The Kentucky Pavia's
The Kentucky Pavia's had a blast celebrating the holidays and the birth of our Savior! Loads of family time, laughing, playing games and relaxing. Our family's most exciting gift is season tickets to next season's Ohio State football team. O-H!!!!!! We enjoyed many out of town family visits and are looking forward to celebrating with Nana and Papa in January. We are looking forward to starting another fun and adventurous year. We are confident God has big things in store for us!!!! We love you all and wish you a wonderful 2022!!!!

Mario and Janie
Mario & Jane went to a Browns vs Bengals Game in Cincinnati with Mike, Christie and the boys. Then we spent Thanksgiving with Harrison’s and KY Pavia’s celebrating Davis’ 7th birthday over that weekend. Harper helped Aunt Janice and me carry on our Italian cookie baking this year. Christmas was celebrated quietly as we went to Mario’s brother’s in the morning and spent some quality time together the rest of the day with a dinner of homemade pasta. Keeping warm by the fire now that CLE Winter is here and hoping to do a few projects around the house.
