Our Jack o’ Lanterns got smashed by some teenagers literally 3 hours after we carved them! I was so mad I didn’t get pictures, Pete said it was the funniest thing he has seen in weeks and I shouldn’t haven’t turned off the porch lights at 8:30pm! Happy Halloween y’all!

Fall 2022

DeMaster Family
We have been celebrating birthdays and hosting visitors over the last few months, and it’s been lovely! We are enjoying the fall season and doing all things pumpkin spice! Cozy fires and soup to all…

The Gaus Family
Hello family! We have been enjoying time with family and cousins! Penny is in dance and is now being dropped off once a week for two hours at like a school/ play group thing! She has been going for a while and since we will be homeschooling this is a great way for her to get out of house and away from mom for one day a week haha. Josh is still traveling for work! We are doing good and miss you all!

The Reust Family
The Reust's have had an eventful end to summer and beginning to fall. We had our last visit to Jan and CJ's condo for labor day with smores, the beach, and of course Ice Cream.
We did a Princess Day at Clementines Tea shop where Rose and Penny dressed up and met Princesses and all the money for the event went to kids with cancer! Then Rose celebrated her 5th birthday in September complete with an homemade pinata by her mom (NEVER AGAIN!) and of course a custom made cake by Jan and Vanessa's bakery. Then finished off with a visit from the DeMaster clan in October to celebrate Lewis' birthday where we went apple picking and did pass the parcel, face painting by the artist Jessica and of course a spaghetti dinner/football. Looking forward to the colder weather and slowing down with summer being over.
Hugs and Kisses.

Janice & Shiggy
Lots of birthday celebrations for the Zweigart’s starting in August with J.R. turning 5!!! A trip to Tennessee for Nana and a crazy snake cake…the best part was getting to see Jacque and her clan who were there to join the celebration!❤️
September brought Rosalee turning 5 with her very own homemade piƱata, compliments of Vanessa!!!
Last, but certainly not least, the DeMasters brought the circus to town to celebrate Lewis turning 2!!!! The cousins enjoyed face painting, along with apple picking, (reminiscence of Nani and Nanu)
While DeMaster’s were in town, we snuck in some overdue family pictures with a great photographer.. thanks for the referral Matt & Rachel! Hopefully they will appear in the next blog.
Enjoy the beautiful, crisp fall weather,
Love to all famiglia,
Janice & Shiggy

Mario & Jane
Summer flew by for Mario & Jane! We were busy with golf, gardening, grandkids’ballgames, a visit to KY with Mike, Christie, Mario & Davis, a visit from the young Pavia’s (Matt & Raquel), a visit from the Kuhn’s from FL, and just saw our first of the season Guardian’s baseball game ( maybe they’ll make it to the World Series)!

The Kentucky Pavia's
The Kentucky Pavia's have had an eventful and full start to the fall season. The boys are enjoying school with new teachers and tackling third and second grade. They are both playing school golf (Mike is the director of Golf at the boys school), flag football and Davis is enjoying soccer. Mario and Davis each ran a 5k this fall and truly enjoyed the festivities and excitement of races. Davis even won first place in the under 12 age division. Also, Mario is very excited that since he turned 9 in August he can now serve at our Church helping out in the kids club rooms! We have made it to four Ohio State football games which has been a blast! Mike is traveling more for work and enjoying coaching the boys in football and golf. We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary in September :). Many of you know but my Mom suffered a stroke while visiting my sister in Oregon. They caught it quickly and she was rushed to the hospital. I flew out that night and spent 10 days in Bend. They found almost full blockage in the artery that the clot was sitting on so they performed surgery to put in a stint. It has been a long five weeks but we are thankful she will make a full recovery. She has full mobility, can drive, played golf yesterday and is working on fine tuning her speech. They returned to Kentucky late last week. We hope everyone enjoys a fun and safe Halloween (we are hosting our annual adult Halloween party so fun pictures to come in the next post).....we love and miss you!

The Harrison Family
We've been crazy busy! The most exciting news... we put in an inground pool.

The Young Pavias
The Young Pavias have taken two trips since the last blog. First, we did a two week trip to Vancouver, Canada and Ohio. We were able to witness Raquel's brother Efraim getting married in Vancouver. It was an amazingly beautiful outdoor wedding and we were so happy to be there to support him. Then we visited Mom and Dad in Cleveland and just relaxed for a week. We headed back to Lima as Raquel started her next school term. Second, just this week, we traveled to Cusco here in Peru as Raquel had another break between school terms. It was set up to be a super fun trip, but we had a little setback when Raquel got really bad altitude sickness! It was horrible, but she is as tough as they come and she powered through with a smile the whole time. We had to cancel a horseback riding adventure, but we did do a lot of city sightseeing and a chocolate-making class!

Janet & Tim
Janet traveled “home” to Ohio to spend time with my sisters. Always a fun adventure when we are together filled with laughter and lots of conversation. Photo was taken at the Zwigart’s beautiful house on the lake. Tim and Janet both took a trip to Pullman to spend time with the Hummel family. We enjoyed quality time with Ava and Elliot and enjoyed visiting the beautiful city of Pullman and the surrounding area.
We survived Ian, our first hurricane. Our community was not evacuated. We had 2 days of strong winds, rain and travel restrictions. Now we truly know why Florida is called the sunshine state, because the very next day blue skies and warm sunshine returned.
Sending xoxo to all.

The Hummels
We recently had a wonderful visit with my parents! Steve’s favorite holiday is around the corner (Halloween). By the time the next blog comes around, Elliot will be walking. He’s so close! Lots to look forward to.

The Kuhn Family
Hello and Happy Fall from the Kuhn’s,
We have been busy with fall sports and back to school events. We miss everyone and hope y’all are having a fun fall.
Love and all things pumpkin spice,
Michelle, Donny, Timmy, Tony, and Tina

Joe & Corrine
All is quiet in the desert. We returned home from our summer in Europe shortly after Labor Day. It was great to get home and now just enjoying the weather. Spending time away from the U.S. opens your eyes to how great we truly have it here.
Joe & Corrine

The Bohlen Family
We took a wonderful family trip to Knoxville to visit the DeMasters (with an Aunt Janice BONUS) for a lovely long weekend, and we saw Bobby's brother and his fiancee the following weekend in Oxford, Mississippi. On our roadtrip between the cities, we had a fantastic time at Dollywood and went to the Space Museum in Alabama. Then it was back home to reality as Connor started kindergarten and Gigi started preschool (no tears here... she basically shoved us out the door so she could play...). The kids and Bobby joined a bouldering gym and are really enjoying climbing, and Jacque is really not enjoying Corporate Taxation this semester. Gigi started ballet, and Connor has been making good progress at swim class. We're happy fall is here as it means fun times at the farm down the street. Sending love to everyone!
