Ahhhhh...summer! The best time of the year for us teachers 😃 The Harrison's have spent the first half of summer relaxing at the beach, playing at home and hanging out with family. We have also started some projects at home and are making some improvements in our kitchen and downstairs.

Having fun at the beach in North Carolina
The Kentucky Pavias: We have been enjoying a summer filled with trips to the pool, park, zoo and hours of playing outside! Davis is starting to talk up a storm just like his big brother and mom! Mario is excited to start pre school in a few weeks and even more excited for his monster truck lunch box. Mike's job keeps him busy with some travel but he is doing great. He has finally recovered from his cavs championship injury after five weeks of a walking boot and several more weeks of physical therapy! Christie is staying busy helping folks buy and sell homes along with managing our rental properties and keeping up with the boys. Looking forward to an anniversary trip to hawking hills national park in September......we are also checking out the site as a possible chimera family vacation spot! Love you

The Young Pavias
We are enjoying every single minute of summer. This season is our favorite and it makes me feel like I'm back in the tropics again! Matt and I have been taking advantage of the warm weather and been doing some outdoorsy stuff. We went to Hinckley Lake for a quick hike and went around the lake for some trail running scoping. We bought a new road bike for me because Matt won't ride with me in public if I use my pink cruiser bike. We also purchased a pair of Stand Up Paddleboards but we haven't tested them out yet. In the next 2 weeks, we are going to bring them to the lake and paddle to our hearts content.
I have been also training for a half marathon race. It will be on September 11 and Matt has been helping me with all the training. We do long distance runs, tempo runs, hill runs, shakeout runs and cross training in between running. I am hoping to beat my personal record on my first half marathon. So fingers crossed and wish me luck.
And lastly, we celebrated our first year wedding anniversary. Can you believe it????! We made it to a year. We celebrated our anniversary in North Carolina and soaked up the sun there for a week. We ate seafood like there's no tomorrow and came back with a nice tan. During our vacation, we visited a winery and had a wine tasting. It was my first time to do that and I had so much fun!
Other things that happened: The Cavs won the championship and right after watching the game at a bar, we went straight to Dicks and lined up for 2 hrs to get championship shirts. We have been going to Indians game and I am finally understanding how baseball works. I celebrated my first 4th of July and it did live up to the hype. We went out for dinner with Traci, Brian, Christie and Michael during the fourth of July weekend and had a fantastic time (Matt and I got so drunk and we were useless the next day). Mommy Jane took me to see the Phantom of the Opera and for her birthday, we treated her to a Painting with a Twist activity. I think she enjoyed it.

Love Janice & Shiggy

The DeMasters: Life is good. Pete and I leave on Sat. July 23rd for our honeymoon! Couldn't be more excited to get outta LA for 8 days. We are doing four days on Coronado Island and 4 days in an ocean front villa in Rosarito Mexico! We will be thinking of you all when I'm drunk on he beach during the week. #notkidding hope everyone is enjoying the summer- it's flying by!

The Reusts are officially Clevelanders again! Our move went well and we are adjusting to living with parents while we search for a home. As you can see Frankie is adjusting just fine in the picture below, he isn't sure what to do with all this new found space
We made a few stops on the drive back to the Badlands and Mount Rushmore, both something to cross off the bucket list. Looking forward to seeing all of you East coasters a lot more.

The Kuhn Family Summer 2016
This year the Kuhn's have enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer! Our favorite summer activity was spending lots of time in Ohio with family. We enjoyed visiting and playing with cousins!!
We also spent a wonderful week at a beach house with Donny's family at Siesta Key Beach. We enjoyed time with family on white sandy beaches.
Our gender reveal party was at the beach and the Chimera family will have another boy joining the baby cousins soon: Tony Joseph Kuhn. 💙💙
Timmy loves his brother and kisses mommy's belly.
Donny has been working towards his masters taking summer classes at UCF. Go Knights!
Mommy and Timmy have enjoyed the local splash pad, story time at the library, and VBS (vacation bible school) while mommy taught kindergartners and Timmy spent time with the toddlers.
We visited a theme park other than Disney -- Gatorland with friends and of course multiple days are spent playing at the Disney parks.
In final exciting news... Michelle's recipe for Seasoned Pretzels will be included in The Gooseberry Patch Cookbook this January 2017!! She is currently feeling like a minor celebrity, her name and hometown will be published under her recipe along with receiving a copy of the cookbook!!
Enjoy lots of our summer photos
Love Donny, Michelle, Timmy, and soon-to-be-baby Tony

Steve and Nicole have been hosting Steve's family for the month of July! Steve's sisters came out for a week and his parents are in town for the month. It has been a joy to show them around Moscow and we are excited for my parents to visit in August! The bikes are ready and waiting for Tim and Jan! I got a new job at a local co-op managing their volunteer staff. I am still working towards my degree but I am finally done with classes and am only teaching/writing. We have two years left - so everyone should visit WA/ID sometime soon :)
The Bohlens have been busy this summer as decisions, decisions, decisions continue for the house rebuild (is it next June yet?? we're SO ready to move back in). We visited Jacque's parents for a few days in Goodyear, AZ over July 4th and then snuck in a few days on Kauai before Jacque disappeared again for a busy few weeks at work. Bobby has continued to turn wood into furniture, and his nephew Sam came out for a visit. Much love to everyone!!

Framing is almost done!

At least vacation rain comes with a view!

Amazing view after a STEEP and LONG climb up the Columbia River Gorge (divides OR & WA)

Our nephew Sam found a willing pillow in Cady
Adams has been very busy with work, and he is looking forward to a rafting trip. He is also thinking about taking a trip to the homeland (Italy!).

Tim and Janet have been enjoying the summer days, riding bikes of course. We drove to Niagara on the Lake, then followed the Niagara River Trail to the falls. The adventure was straight uphill. Felt like we were riding to Mt. Everest. Saw many beautiful sights along the way. One of them was the Living Water Wayside Chapel, the smallest church in the world. We will be visiting Steve and Nicole in August. Looking forward to a fun trip.

Hello All,
It is the middle of summer and hot in the desert. Although it has been reasonable this summer, mid 100’s. I know that sounds hot to you but we have no humidity. 105 here is like 85 with humidity. Adams visited for father’s day, played golf and games-no pics. Jacque and Bobby were here for the 4th of July, played games and a little pool time-no pics.
Went to Sedona after the forth with friends, Chris and Ane. They are also from California. Pics are attached. As you can see we played some golf and just relaxed for the week. Today is Friday, July 22 and a group of us (5 couples) are headed to Scottsdale for a week-end of golf, partying and shopping (ladies are shopping).
Hope all is well with all of you.
