Spring Is In the Air

Janice & Shiggy: We are patiently waiting on summer... well...actually spring!!
It has been cold in northeast Ohio over the last two months, but it has given us time to finish our back porch. Shiggy has been working hard on laying tile and has finally finished, just in time for warm weather...and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Janice will be heading to Seattle at the end of June to help Vanessa and Elijah make their way back to Cleveland. Four days in the car with 2 meowing cats...does anyone feel my pain? Seriously, we are very excited for their return!!
Happy summer to all!!!

Pete and I (Jess) are settling into married life. I've tried two food delivery services: Blue Apron and Gobble- in hopes of learning to be a better cook in the kitchen and to stay out of LA traffic (which is a nightmare no matter what time of day you go to the store!) So far I'm not impressed- still waiting for my mom or one of my Aunts to start their own food delivery service and ship to CA- we would all support right?!
Work life is extremely BUSY for Pete and I! My company just went through a huge merge with another Real Estate company and office location moved to Beverly Hills- which can be a bit overrated! I keep telling Pete I have LA slime all over me when I get home from work! 😉

We are both looking forward to Christmas and spending time with everyone who is home. Can't wait to see all the cousins it's been too long!!

The Reusts:  We have been enjoying the great Seattle weather. We visited Steve and Nicole in April and had a blast! They were amazing hosts, and we had such a fun time on their boat and enjoying the scenic Palouse. The dogs had a great time together as well and were so entertaining, especially on the boat! A few weeks ago we decided to act touristy and took a kayak out on Elliot Bay to enjoy some much needed sunshine. The packing has finally begun, and we are looking forward to having our moms fly down to help us drive back. We have one last visitor coming up at the end of the month (Jess & Pete) and we are looking forward to showing them around Seattle. We are so excited to see family more often once we are back in Ohio in June.

Alisha:
Hello family!!!

I am at the same job (visual merchandiser for target) i am moving and getting a roommate in june! A girl i know from college! We are moving to a town home in stow! I will send pictures when we move! I have met someone! His name is josh and its been really nice getting to know each other! Stephanie and i were able to use aunt jane and uncle marios condo this month!! (thank you again!!) it was such a nice and fun trip! Here are some pictures!! Love and miss you all!!!

Grandparents delight in spending time with their grandchildren, so Tim and Janet took another trip to Florida to visit the Kuhn family, especially Timmy.
We also spent a wonderful week with Nicole during her visit "home". She joined us for our early morning bike rides. We took in an Indians game, had a great time, ate delicious food in club seats and they won the game!

Hello family
The Kuhn's are behind right now so our blog update is very short with some BIG news!!
Timmy is being promoted to Big Brother this December!!! 💙💖

(Timmy loves trucks but not pants)

(Formaggio! Timmy is a little Italian kitchen helper!)

Family updates will be included in the next blog for now mom is in the first trimester and we are finishing up the school year!! 10 days till summer!!
Love and miss y'all

Nicole & Steve: This month, Nicole traveled home to Ohio for a wedding and had a wonderful time with the family (picture painting Harper's nails)! Vanessa and Elijah also came over to the Palouse for a visit.
In April, Steve was hired by WA State Department of Ecology as a water quality specialist (yay for government benefits!)

Joe & Corrine: Since our last blog we took our annual February trip to Puerto Vallarta. We have been doing this every year for over 20 years. Jacque and Adams know Paradise Village (where we stay) very well. We now go with friends (all pictured) for 10 days.

In April I was in another play. This one was "Damn Yankees". I never knew I could act and now I am singing (never knew I could do that either). The pics show the play.

Corrine had a hip replacement on May 4th. She is coming along nicely but recovery is very slow. We were hoping to have the second hip replacement in mid-June. Now it is looking like mid-July. Will keep you posted.

The Bohlens don't have too much to report as Jacque has been working quite a bit still, but things finally calmed down in mid May--just in time to start picking out items for the new house as our builders began pouring the foundation in early May, finally kicking off our 12-14 month timeline until move in!  Jacque was quoted in the Wall Street Journal in April (article), Bobby finished up his woodworking class and has been working through the last of the insurance reconciliation, and we took Olly swimming for the first time in the Willamette River.

Cady is a pro

Olly got the hang of it with some competition

 Adams:
Hey family!

Not too much new this month from my end. I'm getting ready to move right now (I hate moving), but luckily it should only be a few blocks away...not quite ready to leave never never land quite yet. Work is still dominating my schedule, but I've been able to visit some cool places so that parts not too bad. Come out to California sometime soon please!! :)

Mario & I (Jane) are looking forward to spring/summer to arrive so we can use our new deck. In the meantime we (mostly Mario) have been busy finishing our basement. This is my busy month with Washington DC 8th grade trips. We did get to spend a week at our Condo in NC~a little golf, some time at the beach, and a little work on the condo with beautiful weather (70s-80s) all week.
And lastly, we both ran in a 5K sponsored by Hyland, the company Matt works for and for two old people we didn't do bad: Mario finished in about 35 min and I finished in a little over 36 minutes!!

The Harrisons: Summer....here we come!! So school ended for Traci last week, but the boys still have a few more days. Brian started a new backyard project by adding steps to our patio and a whole bunch of new landscaping at the end of our property. We're planning a family vacation to North Carolina at the end of June and are looking forward to spending some time on the beach just hanging out.

Memorial Day toe check... Harper and Traci looking good in purple!

Opening day and it's still freezing in Cleveland.  Luke is #5.

The Kentucky Pavia's have enjoyed a fun and busy spring! Loads of yard work planting new grass, laying 12 yards of mulch, removing tree's and planting over 50 perennials. The boys love being in the yard helping mom and dad! Mike has been traveling for work along with working on the rental properties. The boys finished up swimming lessons, love going to the park, playing in the sandbox and enjoyed our first trip of the season to the pool. We are looking forward to a fun filled summer with time at the lake house in Tennessee, trips to Cleveland and just spending time as a family outside.

We truly hope to see more of you guys this summer so out of towners let us know when you travel back to Cleveland. Wishing you all a safe and fun summer! Love you!

The Young Pavias

Matt and I are still rocking awesome! Matt enjoys work and gets a lot of free tickets to most of the sport stuff happening here in CLE and we are more than happy to take them. This time we went to the hockey playoffs and it was awesome. This coming June, we have 2 baseball games to go to courtesy of Hyland again!

Also, we went to the game 1 of NBA Eastern Conference Finals and it was amazeballs. Mike and his buddy were there too. We lost our voices the next day for cheering a lot.

The Old Pavias and us participated in the Hyland 5K race. We dominated it! Mom even finished first in her age group! We are so very proud of her.

And lastly, we went to the Dave Matthews Band concert last weekend. It was my first time to see them live and they are ridiculously awesome! We got to hang out with Alisha and her friends too which is a nice treat!

I am still at Goddard School, enjoying teaching the little stinkers. I am busy figuring out career plans and preparing for my licensure exams. Hopefully the next time we have a blog entry, I am done with it (fingers crossed).

Matt and I are enjoying the warm weather and will take advantage of it to do some walking and hiking around the metroparks!

That's about ot for use. We all miss you guys!
