SPRING (2025) HAS SPRUNG AND SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

Tim and Janet

Yes, Florida actually has cool days. Janet spent some time indoors perfecting her sourdough and started a new adventure making mozzarella cheese. Tim is of course enjoying the feast. Celebrated St. Patrick’s with friends and Easter with the Kuhn family.

Annual sisters trip to sunset beach/ calabash, always fun and full of laughter with my sisters.  Back to outdoor activities including loads of pool time.

The Kuhn's
We had a busy spring in Florida and are ready for a magical summer! Timmy and Tony both played flag football, and their team brought home the championship. Tina kept things lively with soccer. Some of the kids' highlights this season we're seeing The Minecraft Movie, enjoying their school carnival, learning how to play pickle ball, and spending sunny days at the beach.
Tony also started growing apple trees from seeds and we’ve been loving our new record player. The kids are now into vinyl, a huge thanks to Nana and Papa for helping us build up our collection. School just wrapped up this week, and the kids are gearing up for summer break. We’ve got a trip to Ohio planned for June 15–22 and would love to see anyone who’s around!
Love you so,
Donny, Michelle, Timmy, Tony, and Tina

The Hummel's
The Hummel family has moved (down the street)! Our new address is:

125 NW Thomas Street
Pullman, WA 99163

We had outgrown our old home and needed some more space. This spring has been hectic. Earlier last month we celebrated Ava’s sixth birthday! Then, we moved and Steve had a business trip to Boston and visited with friends in Maine. Next, I spent three weeks advising our college’s study abroad program in Greece and visited with friends in Turkey. We’re excited for a bit of a break as we coast into summer.

Jane and Mario
We spent some time at our condo in NC in March. It was fairly warm so we were able to golf and go to the beach~it was a very relaxing week!
We were very excited to attend Grandparents' Day in March with Mario and Davis at their school. I was honored to attend Luke's induction into the Junior National Honor Society at his school a few weeks ago. We spent much of the spring watching Braden play high school baseball and a few of Luke's games for the beginning of his summer season. Starting next week we will be at many games of Braden, Luke and Harper's summer baseball schedule and get to see a few of Mario and Davis' games too. Sisters' weekend in NC was much fun catching up, shopping and enjoying each other's company.
Back to summer activities including golf, gardening, biking and enjoying the warm weather.

The Harrison's
Harrison Highlights:
Harper turned 11
Braden made his varsity baseball debut
Luke turned 14
Luke got his umpire card (first game is June 4)
Luke was inducted into the junior national  honor society
The pool is open for summer ☀️
First baseball tournament of the season took us to Dayton Ohio

KY Pavia's
The Kentucky Pavia's have enjoyed a very rainy spring season.  Mike has spent more time scheduling baseball than coaching baseball :). We have been able to play some baseball with great success and fun!  Christie coached both boys in school volleyball with Davis's team winning the end of season tournament.  We have spent a lot of time fishing, spring gardening and wrapping up the end of school year festivities.  We are ready for summer and hope to see family on our break.  Love you!

Young Pavia's

The Young Pavias (do we have to change our title when I turn 40 next year?!)

Raquel and Matt have had an eventful first half of 2025. We had a lot to celebrate - Matt's bday, Raquel's bday, and Shadow's gotcha/adoption day (7 years with us!). We've also been enjoying beautiful Lima. January to April are the best months of the entire year. Every day is 75-80 and sunny. So we played a lot of paddle tennis, rollerbladed, went to the ocean, took Shadow on adventures, etc. We recently spent a week in Santiago, Chile which turned out to be a beautiful city. Plus the wine is cheap and delicious.

It's also been a hectic and stressful couple of months. After four years in Lima, we're planning a move. Raquel's contract with her school is ending and she has signed on with a top-tier school in Seoul, South Korea. We're trying to do as much as we can to enjoy our last months in Lima, while at the same time selling/donating stuff, making travel plans for both us and Shadow, and trying to set up our visas/accommodation/etc. in Seoul. We will have a short visit to Ohio mid-July, so we hope to see as many of you as we can. Love you all!

Joe and Corrine

Greetings from the Desert!

Nothing out of the ordinary going on here.
We cruised the Caribbean in January.  Went to Puerta Vallarta in February.  Jacque, Connor and Gigi visited in March.  Their favorite activity was driving Nanu's golf cart all over the neighborhood.  Swimming and ice cream were also high on the list.  Connor especially liked Mima's breakfast sandwich.  I am not sure how Corrine made it but Connor said it was the best he ever had.  That pleased someone very much.

Speaking of golf, as Joe gets on in age, he is finding it is much easier to shoot your age.  Just last Saturday he shot a 75.  Not bad for a 77-year-old.  That success on the course cost him the bar bill.

We are leaving the desert in a couple of weeks.  We will go home for a while to SoCal and visit with Adams and Evelyn, then we are headed to Prescott, AZ.  Prescott is a mile high so the weather is great in the summer.  We are on another cruise in September then home for the fall.

Enjoy the water and the summer everyone!!
Love, Joe & Corrine

The Bohlen's
It’s the usual barely-controlled chaos for the Bohlens with busy work and activity schedules. Gigi lost her two front teeth, we went to tea for Mother's Day, and Connor turned eight. Jacque and the kids visited Mima and Nana in Arizona for Spring Break, and somehow we don’t have a single picture of our lovely visit. We’re gearing up for dance and piano recitals and Gigi’s 6th birthday over the next month. Sending our love to everyone!

The Chimera's
Hi Famiglia,
It’s been a while since we’ve contributed to the family journal — we’ll try to be better about that!

This past winter, Evelyn and I spent a lot of time skiing. We hit a few spots: Tahoe, Park City, Vail, Whistler, and Mammoth. But as luck would have it, we always seemed to arrive right before the big snowstorms — so we missed all the epic powder days, but still had a ton of fun!

On another note, we’ve moved! We’re now living in Hermosa Beach. CA. Not too far from where we were before (just one city north). If anyone’s headed to California, we’d love to see you.

We love reading all your updates and miss you all!

Shiggy and Janice

Summer is knocking on the door but cool spring won’t let her in DAMMIT!!! (insert nephews and nieces throwing wads of wrapping paper at me… if you know, you know)

We started off the new year with a trip to Nashville music scene with some good friends. It was an awesome trip with lots of music and good food. We topped it off with a visit to the DeMaster clan which was equally as awesome!!!

March was a celebration of birthdays…Shiggy first, then Janice and ended with Penny’s Wiz of Oz/Wicked themed birthday in the park!

Our annual sister’s weekend was at Jane’s NC condo this year, with lots of sunshine, beach time, books, gossip and of course shopping!

I just returned from another visit with the DeMaster clan which was a blast… loving the 85 degrees every day, along with some hiking on their property with the kiddos and swimming in their pool.

Starting the garden early this year even though Mother Nature is not cooperating, with lots of herbs, (basil being the show stopper) lettuce, tomatoes and anything else I can squeeze in before Shiggy says NO WAY are we growing that JAN!!!!

Happy summer to all my famiglia
LOVE and MISS you all!

PS. Plans for a reunion next year are in the making!!!!

The DeMaster's

We are excited for a full summer in the mountains! Enjoying our pool, exploring waterfall hikes, and staying busy with all four kids on the run!  Margot adopted a little friend on the last day of school….she is very excited to introduce everyone to “Sally Mountain” our new kitten. Wishing everyone sun and fun!

The Ruest's

Winter seems like such a long time ago! We celebrated Judah’s 5th birthday with a Darth Vader Party in February. Judah has been taking Taekwondo twice a week and just earned his yellow belt which was so fun to watch him practice hard for. We celebrated our 12 year anniversary in March. We went to a play downtown with Nana for homeschool group and Rose and Elijah had a Daddy Daughter dance in March. We enjoyed a rather cold Easter and in May we had a fun trip to Disney World enjoying the heat and the magic of it all! Looking forward to summer.

The Gaus's
Hello family! We have finished off the school year a month early!! ( I love homeschooling) and enjoying our time off and warmer days!
Penny is full on with dance! She has recital coming up soon and will be taking two classes this summer! We are becoming a dance family and damn it’s expensive!!! We are hoping to put our house up for sale this summer! And finally move closer to my sister and mom!

                 That's all folks!!
